 Tour Duration: 3.5 Hours

•Perfect for people visiting Costa Maya (Mahahual) by cruise ship and also people here on holiday who have always wanted to try fly fishing. This quick introduction is an ideal activity for family groups.

•Having been welcomed, an introduction to the equipment and a short demonstration will follow. You will then be taught the technique of casting a single handed fly fishing rod under qualified instruction.

•After the casting lesson and practice, you then return to the beach to learn how to make a salt water fishing fly. You can chose from various colourful materials and create your own design for your fly.

•Then follows the chance to try your luck and try your fly as you go fishing from the beach under guided supervision. Fortunate guests will catch small sport fish such as Bonefish, Jacks and Snappers.

•During this tour you will learn how to cast a fly fishing rod, how to tie a fishing fly, fly presentation and movement. If you are lucky you will catch a fish on your very own fly! This tour is ideal for beginners, families or fly fishermen who wish to improve their ability under qualified instruction.
